Flywheel-Driven Water Booster Pump Bearing Fault

Proactive bearing replacement was performed on a critical flywheel-driven water booster pump after detecting an outer race defect. The flywheel assembly was removed, bearings replaced, and the flywheel balanced and laser-aligned before reinstallation.

Proactive Bearing replacement on this critical flywheel driven water booster pump carried out last week🔧🔩⚙️. An outer race🏃‍➡️ defect was detected🧐🔍 and monitored 📊until a planned intervention could be carried out. Work was then carried out to have the Flywheel assembly removed 🔧 🧰🏗. Once removed the bearings were replaced 🆕️✅before the Flywheel was balanced ⚖️to G1.0. and Laser Aligned 🎯on re-installtion. Inspection 👀👁️of the bearings confirmed the inner race defect diagnosis
