Vane Pass Frequency on a Pump

Vane pass frequency (VPF) can cause resonance if it is close to a natural frequency. To avoid this, one frequency must be 15-20% away from the other.

Vane pass frequency (VPF) on the Pump

VPF will not be a problem in the equipment if it is not close to a natural frequency, one that makes the VPF amplitude high because the natural frequency is excited by the VPF

To avoid resonance in the VPF, one of the frequencies must be 15-20% away

in this example 6X TS (VPF) appears together with a natural frequency, the distance between the two frequencies is only 3.12 hz (6%)
so the natural frequency is still excited by the VPF

Please share if you have any experiences with VPF problems, thanks
