Equipment in question: Rotary kiln fuel injection air blower.

Observed situation: In the analysis of the velocity spectrum of point 2A (L.A. bearing of the engine) it was notorious a highlight for the harmonics of the frequency of 10.25Hz, which after calculations was found to be the belt-rate frequency (wear on the belts in "V"). The transmission system was asked to be checked, and when checking the equipment, wear was found on the "V" belts, in addition to finding one of the belts turned over and not sitting on the pulley gorne. A minimal misalignment of the transmission system was found, which can influence such a situation to happen. The intervention was carried out before a corrective failure occurred, causing no impact on the production process.

Theory is fundamental to practice, as it provides the conceptual basis and understanding of the principles that underlie actions. Without theory, practice can become shallow, random, and less effective, while the combination of theory and practice leads to more thorough and meaningful learning.
