I share with you a case of local fault gear:
Gear failures are critical issues that can affect the performance and safety of machinery. These failures can be caused by different factors and can manifest themselves in various ways.
Below I present a gear with broken, pitted teeth. It is characterized by having predominant gear frequencies with a large number of sidebands at the speed of the component at fault, which increases according to the severity of the damage.
I add velocity, waveform, and contribution graph spectra.
