A significant engine vibration (6,336g) was traced to bearing wear. Replacing the bearing reduced vibration to 0.103g, bringing the equipment within acceptable parameters.

I would like to report an important discovery regarding the operation of an engine. During a routine analysis, we identified a significant vibration, with a measured amplitude of 6,336g. Upon further investigation, we determined that this vibration is directly related to wear on the bearing on the LOA side of the engine.
After replacing the bearing, it was found that the motor vibration dropped from 6.336g to 0.103g, so the equipment is within acceptable operating parameters.
