The clear fault is observed in the vibration, waveform, autocorrelated waveform and circular waveform spectra. It is more clearly identified in the circular waveform 6 impacts that correspond to the number of rolling elements that pass through the defect in one revolution, according to the literature of the analysis of failure in bearings, approximately 40% of the rolling elements pass in the outer track and 60% in the inner track per revolution. In this case study it corresponds to 6 rolling elements since the bearing has 15 total elements and the fault is in the external race.
