Is it possible to detect cage problems (FTF) through vibration analysis?

There is a paradigm about the ability to be detectable or not.

Below we present a successful case for detecting a cage problem, which was detected through vibration monitoring.

As can be seen in the spectra, the predominant frequency is FTF, not being associated with the modulation of any other bearing component (rotating elements, external raceway and internal raceway)
The cause is due to the operational condition, it generates axial stress and over time generates deformation of the cage.
In this case, the equipment still operated for 30 days until the emergency preventive stop.
