Recent measurements detected bearing failures in two motors, allowing for planned maintenance before malfunctions become severe.
Early detection of bearing failures, especially in terms of monitoring the health of equipment, is vital for predictive maintenance applications. According to the stages represented by the fault size, precautions should be taken, necessary controls or supplies should be made. Although the diagnosis of the fault at the last stage is of course helpful up to a certain point, it is undesirable in terms of making root cause analysis difficult and it is too late to take the necessary precautions.

The image we share below belongs to 2 separate AC Motors that we have recently taken measurements of. You can see the onset of bearing failure, which we detected at the front of Motor No. 01 (M.O.D.x) and at the rear (M.A.Y) of Motor No. 02, in the spectrum and waveform graphs in terms of Acceleration and Velocity. Although it is not necessary to change the bearing at this stage, periodic measurements and equipment control should definitely be done. In order to prevent possible malfunctions, controlled controls can be taken in a planned manner before the malfunction reaches advanced dimensions, with follow-up with the Wi-Care 100 system.
