SAG Mill Corona Problem

A SAG mill vibration analysis revealed a circular waveform indicating a problem with the crown, despite normal vibration amplitudes. The analysis was conducted using a CSI 2140 analyzer and AMS software.

Circular waveform - Last case of the year 2021

Good day friends and colleagues, I have my last case study of this year 2021. The study corresponds to a SAG mill that is apparently without problems. The vibration amplitudes are not greater than 0.13 ips 0-Pk, however, we can see in the spectrum that the frequency of 5035 cpm (21x of the pinion) has sidebands and the amplitude modulation is clearly observed in the waveform. Collecting an additional reading with higher spectral resolution, it is determined that the separation of the sidebands is equal to the frequency of rotation of the drum which is 13.02 cpm.... What will the pinion and the crown have?

The answer is found in the lateral bands and it can be indicated that the corona presents the anomaly and we can rely on the circular waveform. The images show the circular waveform tuned to the rotational frequency of the pinion and then to the rotational frequency of the drum. I leave it to you what you would report because the circular waveform says EVERYTHING.
