In this case study, we will identify another pattern for damaged belt in a rotary machine consists of pulleys and belts. It was found that the 2XBRF and its harmonics are dominant in the frequency spectrum rather than 1XBRF.
The physical meaning of this pattern is that the damage impacts the two pulleys in one revolution of this belt leading to producing two events which causes 2XBRF peak and its harmonics are the highest as shown in figure.
