High vibrations in the drive motor were analyzed, revealing bearing ball damage. The bearing was replaced, and pre- and post-maintenance measurements were taken.
Motor : 45 kw
Bearing : 6213 2Z/C3
Speed variable : 1250
Drive : Belt Pulley
*Roller Drive Motor Front Bearing Ball (BPF) Case Analysis
*High vibrations were detected in the drive motor, whose measurements were taken during periodic operation measurements.
*As a result of the analysis, signals matching the sidebands in the Bearing Ball (BPF) Frequency and Cage frequency were observed in the Asynchronous region in the Envelope spectrum.
*Bearing replacement was made by requesting a planned stop.
*Pre- and post-maintenance measurements are shown on the Z-axis.
Result:
The cut bearing was examined and cracks were observed in 2 balls.
I am doing research on damage to bearing balls, have you encountered such ball damage before?
