Repetitive shocks of the shaft frequency (17.54 Hz) in Rolling Mill reported as Pinion defect in the gearbox, the defect confirmed as shown in the photo.
The SFI - Shock Finder Filter from Acoem shows vividly the shaft frequency of the shaft in the Time-Waveform.
The Circular Plot was also effective to confirm the damaged area in the pinion.
