A fault caused by electric current passage was identified and treated, allowing the asset to be monitored until the end of the harvest. The root cause of the fault was remedied to prevent recurrence.
Fault diagnosed -passage of electric current.
It was possible to identify the failure at the beginning, treat it, and monitor the asset until the end of the harvest, where we replaced the bearing.
The key to finding a fault is to remedy the root cause so that there is no recurrence.
"The passage of electric current can quickly damage the bearings. Magnetic flux asymmetries in the motor, asymmetric and unshielded cables, fast-switching frequency inverters, and common-mode voltage are common sources of these currents."
