Cage Defect Frequency (FTF) matters !!!???
How important is that?
Is that rare or usual frequency?
In your Idea, what happens in the bearing and its cage that the envelope chart shows us this frequency?
What causes FTF?
how do you face up with FTF?
In this case study, As you see in the envelope Chart, the Bearing (6309) of the pump has BPFO (About 150 Hz) and harmonics (Blue Arrow) that are surrounded by FTF sidebands.
In the picture of the bearing, We see the defect of the outer ring clearly but the cage was in good condition!
Please comment below on your experience with FTF and your reaction?
