Dangerous acceleration increases in the front and rear vibration values of the motor due to the motor coupling breaking and the fan becoming unbalanced.

An ODS analysis was performed on the equipment using 3-axis vibration and phase measurements collected from a total of 14 measurement points, 10 points on the intake fan base and 4 points on the equipment. Animations of these vibrations, which reached high amplitudes at the 8th and 12th measurement points marked on the equipment, were also shared in GIF format. Although the vibration dampers were functioning properly, these vibrations at the equipment base raised questions about the base connections, so it was decided to conduct the necessary visual inspections.

Visual inspections revealed significant corrosion and wear problems at the points where the metal base is connected to the concrete base. Serious problems were detected at 4 of the 6 connection points where the bases are connected. Several photographs were taken to illustrate these problems.
