As a result of online vibration monitoring studies, a significant increase in vibration and regular impact signals were detected in the examined gear system compared to normal operating conditions. The data obtained indicate mechanical problems caused by wear or surface deterioration on the gear contact surfaces and possible thread defects.
Gear damage is clearly seen in the image.
Tooth damage detection in the gearbox operating under variable speeds and loads.
