Characteristic Frequency of Gear with High Noise Identified in Reducer!
During the monitoring of an industrial gearbox, the characteristic frequency of 616.9 Hz was detected, associated with the internal gear of the equipment. The vibration amplitude at speed was recorded at 0.754 mm/s RMS, indicating high noise and vibration, especially in the axial shaft (0.4087 g at acceleration), suggesting wear or irregularities in the gear teeth.
