During routine collection, an exponential increase was identified in all parameters of an agitator motor. By the spectra, with multiple rotation harmonics and 1x high in speed, it indicated a coupling defect, but NR12 prevented its inspection. That's where the technician's feeling comes in, I could simply open a note and warn the customer but I knew that the failure of this equipment was about to occur.
I contacted the shift coordinator, requested support from the mechanics to remove the protection, along with the support of the operation to stop the equipment and thus the defective coupling was evidenced!
