Recently performed a vibration analysis on a critical rotating machine – the hashtag#CoalMill hashtag#Gearbox – and identified a potential failure before it became catastrophic.
🔍 The analysis clearly pointed to a bearing defect on the inner race (BPFI) of an SKF 22334CC bearing.
📉 Though the vibration amplitudes were relatively low, the frequency pattern and harmonics indicated an early-stage inner race defect.
📸 Upon inspection, spalling and pitting were observed – confirming the vibration diagnosis and validating the importance of proactive monitoring.
