High Vibration Issue on Clinker Cooler Fan – Solved (Almost too easily!) 🚨

We recently faced a high vib problem on overhung clinker cooler fan – Fan NDE side. Vibration levels were around 18.45 mm/sec RMS in Hor direction 11.7 in Axial direction and the spectrum showed clear 1X to 8X harmonics – classic signs of rotational looseness.

We did a small correction, and surprisingly the vibration dropped to 4.5 mm/sec in Hor direction and 2.3 mm/sec in axial direction(Yes still issue not resolved fully, but it will attend this on next PM)
